Job summary

St Margaret's Hospice Care is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper in Taunton to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across the hospice, supporting patient care with dignity and comfort.

You will join a supportive team, work across clinical and non-clinical areas, and follow established cleaning schedules. Full training is provided, with rota-based shifts, and on-site parking available for staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, healthcare, or hospitality is welcome but not essential.
• Full training and induction will be provided.
• Flexible to work a rota across 7 days.

Responsibilities

• Clean clinical and non-clinical areas to a high standard.
• Support infection prevention and control.
• Follow cleaning schedules and respond to urgent requests.
• Work as part of a friendly and professional team.

• Shifts between 7am-6pm, worked on a rota across 7 days
