Job summary

Inspire Neurocare Limited is seeking a Bank Housekeeper to join the Basingstoke team, delivering high standards of cleanliness and a warm, homely environment in our care centre.

You will handle cleaning, laundry, and resident interactions, work across bedrooms and communal areas, and contribute to a safe, supportive setting. Flexible team player with infection control basics preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Infection Control, Health and Safety regulations and COSHH guidelines.
• Preferably experience of working as a Housekeeper or within a Domestic team.
• Experience in a clinical or care setting is beneficial.
• Flexible and solutions-focused approach to workload.
• Empathy and desire to make a difference to residents' lives.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all cleaning duties as directed by the Housekeeping team to the required company standards.
• Ensure all service areas are clean, hygienic and well-maintained, including bedrooms and communal spaces.
• Handle laundry and linen with care, including residents' personal items.
• Interact with residents and offer assistance as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping supplies and report shortages to the manager.

You will help to ensure that every room and living space within the Centre is maintained to the highest standards, providing a safe, clean and therapeutic environment for resident’s, staff and visitors.

We are specifically looking for a Bank Housekeepers to join the Basingstoke team to support a period of growth due to occupancy

What you’ll be doing

• To carry out all cleaning duties as directed by the Housekeeping team to the required company standards.
