THE ORDERS OF ST JOHN CARE TRUST is seeking a part-time Housekeeper in Marlow, full of warmth and care. The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness, hygiene and safety in a residential care home, with support to residents, their families and staff.

Training is provided to ensure high standards of service. Based at Sir Aubrey Ward House in Marlow, this position offers a competitive hourly pay and access to a supportive, not-for-profit employer committed to residents’ well-being and staff

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping within elderly care settings is beneficial.
• Ability to maintain high hygiene and infection-control standards.
• Good communication and teamwork across shifts.

ABOUT OUR ROLE

Our Housekeepers play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in our homes, ensuring that every room and living space is clean, tidy and maintained at all times. A champion for hygiene and infection control within the home, you’ll have access to specialised equipment and materials to ensure you can create a welcoming, safe and comfortable environment for residents, as well as their friends and families. Some of our residents love to join in with simple cleaning and laundry tasks, so you may sometimes find that you have extra help as you carry out your daily routines.

In joining us, you’ll also become part of our extended family. You’ll work alongside other team members who are passionate about providing a safe environment, as well as warmth and kindness to all those who live and work in our homes.

Sir Aubrey Ward House is a warm, spacious and cheerful residential care home inMarlow town centre, with 60 fully furnished individual rooms located in four separate wings. There are plenty offacilities, and communal and outdoor spaces, including lovely first-floor balconies and an enclosed courtyard garden where residents can relax and participate in outdoor activities.

ABOUT YOU

You’ll be comfortable in an elderly care setting, with the ability to relate to our residents in a caring and sensitive manner.

If you’ve worked in a housekeeping role before, then that’s great as you’ll have a good idea of what to expect. But if housekeeping as a profession is new to you, then don’t worry – we’ll provide all the training you need to start your new career with us.
