Job summary

Retirement Villages is seeking a Part-time Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment across our Botanical Place Retirement Village and residents' homes. The role offers 8 hours with flexibility for additional hours and focuses on high standards of cleanliness and service.

You will clean residents' apartments and communal areas, launder linens, support light maintenance, and interact with residents with empathy.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping, preferably in residential or hospitality settings.
• Strong attention to detail; able to work efficiently and independently.
• Excellent communication; friendly, compassionate demeanor.
• Sensitivity to the needs of older adults.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and relevant training.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular cleaning tasks in residents' apartments, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Laundering residents' linens and clothing with care and attention to detail.
• Keeping communal areas such as lounges, dining areas, and hallways clean and presentable.
• Assisting with light maintenance tasks as needed.
• Upholding high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the village.

We are looking for a Part-time Housekeeper (8 hours, with flexibility for additional hours) to provide the highest standards of cleanliness and service across our beautiful Botanical Place Retirement Village and in residents homes while delivering excellent customer service.

As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of our residents’ homes and communal areas. Your responsibilities will include:
