Job summary

Retirement Villages Group is seeking a Part-time Housekeeper (8 hours, with flexibility for additional hours) to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and service at Botanical Place Retirement Village and in residents' homes. You will ensure clean communal areas, tidy apartments, and friendly resident interactions.

Ideal candidates have housekeeping experience in residential or hospitality settings, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a residential or hospitality setting.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and independently.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanour.
• Sensitivity to the needs and preferences of older adults.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and relevant training.

Responsibilities

• Performing regular cleaning tasks in residents' apartments, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Laundering residents' linens and clothing with care and attention to detail.
• Keeping communal areas such as lounges, dining areas, and hallways clean and presentable.
• Assisting with light maintenance tasks as needed.
• Upholding high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the village.
