Housekeeper, Malmaison

Rate of Pay / Hours: £12.48 Per Hour plus generous company benefits, training & development / 30 hours per week

Type of Contract: Permanent

Location: Brighton

Working as part of the housekeeping team, you will ensure all guest bedrooms within the hotel are cleaned daily. You should have an eye for detail and maintain high standards of cleanliness.

Malmaison provides a range of luxury and boutique hotels in 15 landmark locations across the UK. Known for style and hospitality, Malmaison offers exquisite accommodations with a relaxing atmosphere, alongside sumptuous food and wine in our Chez Mal Brasseries.

As a Room Attendant, you will interact with guests, so conversational English is essential, as is the ability to work independently for periods. You will be a vital part of the Malmaison team, ensuring all bedrooms are clean and tidy for our guests.

You will mainly work set shifts, five days out of seven, starting at 9 or 10 am. Flexibility may be required during peak times. Early start times and weekend-only shifts can be discussed at interview.

This role requires a good level of fitness to perform tasks efficiently. Full training on chemicals and equipment will be provided.

Experience in a similar role is not necessary, but a positive attitude and desire to make a difference are essential.

We actively support internal development and progression. Malmaison plans to have 100 new apprentices by year's end. Candidates will have the opportunity to enroll in our apprenticeship scheme after completing their probation.
