Cleaner - NW11 Golders Green - Immediate Start

Ventry Care is recruiting members of domestic staff to join the housekeeping team at our residential care home in Golders Green - NW11 (London Borough of Barnet).

We care for older persons and those with dementia.

Pay and Benefits

Working Hours

8:00 to 15:00 shifts, up to 6 days per week available.

Role Responsibilities

1. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the care home, including infection control.
2. Clean and polish lounges, bedrooms, corridors, common rooms, and offices.
3. Wash, dry, and store laundry.
4. Perform carpet shampooing and spring cleaning tasks.
5. Use electrical equipment safely, such as vacuum cleaners, washing machines, dryers, irons, and carpet cleaners.
6. Store and handle materials and equipment in accordance with COSHH requirements.
7. Work safely, considering hazards and your own safety as well as that of others.
8. Ensure all equipment is clean and well-maintained.
9. Restock toiletries, soaps, towels, etc., as needed.
10. Perform other domestic tasks as directed.

Additional Information

You will be supervised and supported by the care home management and will take instructions from them. Your goal is to keep the care home clean and organized. Self-motivation and a strong work ethic are essential.

Experience is preferable but not essential. Ongoing training and support will be provided.
