Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a part-time Housekeeper for Granville Lodge in Hartlepool. You will perform daily cleaning across residents' areas, maintain infection control standards, and support a safe, homely environment for residents.

The role offers 15 hours per week with a pro rata annual salary of £25,400.16, along with staff benefits and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Previous domestic, housekeeping or cleaning experience desirable.
• Experience in healthcare, residential care, or care home environment desirable.
• COSHH, Infection Prevention and Control, or Health & Safety training desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the service, including residents’ bedrooms, communal areas, bathrooms, dining areas, offices, therapy spaces and clinical environments.
• Carry out daily cleaning tasks per schedules and policies.
• Complete deep cleaning as directed by senior staff and ensure safe use of cleaning equipment.
