Storal Learning Ltd. Ashby Nursery School in Ashby-de-la-Zouch is seeking a part-time Housekeeper/Cleaner to keep the nursery clean and welcoming.

Hours: 10 hours per week, 6pm to 8pm; Pay: £12.71 per hour; benefits include wellness day, 50% childcare discount, and performance bonuses.

You will work with educators to maintain safety and hygiene in line with health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• Excellent cleanliness standards and attention to detail.
• Basic hygiene knowledge and cleanliness best practices.
• Understanding of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH.
• Awareness of safeguarding and site security importance.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Housekeeper/Cleaner, you will maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the nursery setting. Following the cleaning schedule, you will ensure all areas are kept clean, tidy, safe and well cared for. Your role will involve managing cleaning materials and supplies, in line with health and safety guidelines, following the latest child protection and health and safety legislation.

You will work closely with the educator team to ensure any issues impacting daily operations are reported and dealt with quickly, effectively and safely.
