Job summary

Ashby Nursery School, part of the Storal group, is seeking a Housekeeper/Cleaner to maintain a clean and safe environment for children and staff at Ashby-de-la-Zouch. The role is part-time, 10 hours per week, from 6pm to 8pm, with a pay rate of £12.71 per hour.

You will follow the nursery cleaning schedule, ensure areas are well maintained, and work closely with educators to report issues quickly and safely. Previous experience and a dedication to high cleanliness standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• High standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Good understanding of basic hygiene and cleanliness.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and COSHH.
• Understanding safeguarding and site security is important.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the nursery setting according to the cleaning schedule.
• Keep all areas clean, tidy, safe and well cared for.
• Manage cleaning materials and supplies in line with health and safety guidelines.
• Report and address issues impacting daily operations with educator team promptly.
