Job summary

Oakland Care is seeking a friendly and dedicated Housekeeper at Berkshire Manor, Ringmead, Bracknell. You will help maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for our residents, contributing to a home-like atmosphere.

We value reliability, positive attitude, attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a supportive team. Experience in care home housekeeping is a bonus but not essential; full training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience (care home experience is a bonus but not essential).
• A warm and respectful approach when working in residents’ personal spaces.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive, can-do attitude with good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across residents’ rooms and communal areas throughout the home.
• Carrying out daily cleaning routines and deep-clean schedules.
• Ensuring laundry is washed, dried, and returned promptly.
• Supporting infection control procedures and resident wellbeing.

Pay: £13.20 per hour

Engagement: Zero Hours (Bank)
