Job summary

Berkshire Manor is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain high cleanliness standards across the home, including residents’ rooms and communal areas.

The role involves daily and deep-clean routines, laundry duties, and supporting infection control, working in a warm team focused on residents’ wellbeing. No formal care experience required, but a respectful, can-do attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping, preferably in a care home.
• Positive, can-do attitude.
• Good attention to detail.

• Warm and respectful approach when working in residents’ spaces.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining high cleanliness standards in residents’ rooms and communal areas.
• Carrying out daily cleaning routines and deep-clean schedules.
• Ensuring laundry is washed, dried, and returned promptly.
• Supporting infection control procedures.
• Working as part of a friendly team that puts residents’ wellbeing first.

Pay: £13.20 per hour

Engagement: Zero Hours (Bank)
