Job summary

Hastings Court in Hastings is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for our residents. This zero‑hours (bank) role offers days shifts and on‑site work at our Hastings location, with pay at £13.20 per hour.

You will be responsible for daily cleaning, laundry tasks, and supporting infection control while thriving in a warm team that puts residents’ wellbeing first. Previous care home housekeeping is welcome but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in similar housekeeping role is preferred.
• Care home experience is a bonus but not essential.
• Able to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Warm and respectful approach when working around residents.
• Good communication and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across residents’ rooms and communal areas throughout the home.
• Carrying out daily cleaning routines and deep-clean schedules.
• Ensuring laundry is washed, dried, and returned promptly.
• Supporting infection control procedures.
• Working as part of a friendly team that puts residents’ wellbeing first.
