Job summary

Circle Health Group is seeking a Bank Housekeeper at St Edmunds Hospital in Bury St Edmunds for bank shifts. The role covers cleaning of patient, public, and staff areas and requires flexibility to support multiple departments, including theatre areas, as needed.

The position offers an hourly rate up to £12.79, with pay dependent on experience, training, and qualifications. The role is on-site within the Hospital Services team and involves completion of daily task sheets and mandatory training.

Qualifications

• Competency in literacy and numeracy.
• Maths and English GCSEs at grades A-C or equivalent.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC, including software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Undertake in the day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (incl Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites where appropriate.
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead on a daily basis for auditing purposes.
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training.

We have an opportunity for a Housekeeper to join their team of staff in theHotel Services department.

This is a bank role working on an "as and when required" basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Duties of this role include:

• Undertake in the day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
