Job summary

Circle Health Group's St Edmunds Hospital in Bury St Edmunds is seeking a Housekeeper to join the Hotel Services team. The role is 15 hours a week on a permanent basis, with a flexible shift pattern to cover patient, public and staff areas.

You'll maintain a safe, clean environment, replenish linen, and support other departments as needed. Applicants should have GCSEs in Maths and English (A-C) or equivalent, and basic IT skills.

Qualifications

• Applicants should meet the following criteria: literacy and numeracy.
• Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent Level 2.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC, including software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Undertake day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and staff areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (including Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites.
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead for auditing.
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training.

Salary: £24,947.00 FTE per year

St Edmunds Hospital in Bury St Edmunds is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for an Housekeeper to join their team of staff in theHotel Services department.

This is a part time role for 15 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• Undertake in the day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (inc Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites where appropriate and as requested
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead on a daily basis for auditing purposes
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Competency in literacy and numeracy
• Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
