Job summary

Three Shires Hospital in Northampton is seeking a Housekeeper (Bank) to join the Hotel Services team. This bank role involves providing cover on an as-needed basis, including early mornings, evenings and weekends, to clean patient, public and staff areas.

You will replenish linen, maintain a safe environment, and be flexible to work across departments and other Circle Health Group sites if required. Competitive hourly rate applies.

Salary: Up to £12.71 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Housekeeper to join their team of staff in the Hotel Services department.

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence including early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Duties Of This Role Include

• Undertake in the day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (inc Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites where appropriate and as requested
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead on a daily basis for auditing purposes
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training

Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria

• Competency in literacy and numeracy
• Good Communication skills
• Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
