Job summary

Circle Health Group is seeking a Bank Housekeeper for Three Shires Hospital in Northampton. The role is an “as and when required” bank position covering shifts including early mornings, evenings and weekends to support busy periods.

Responsibilities include cleaning patient, public and staff areas, replenishing linen and consumables, and ensuring a safe environment. Candidates should have GCSEs, good numeracy and literacy, and PC skills.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grades A-C or equivalent level 2 evidence.
• Good literacy and numeracy.
• Clear communication skills and basic IT proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Undertake day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and staff areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Flexibility to work in all departments (incl Theatre) and at other Circle Health Group sites as required.
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead for auditing.
• Comply with mandatory training.

We have an opportunity for a Housekeeper to join their team of staff in the Hotel Services department.

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence including early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Duties Of This Role Include

• Undertake in the day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (inc Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites where appropriate and as requested
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead on a daily basis for auditing purposes
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training
  
  

Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria

• Competency in literacy and numeracy
• Good Communication skills
• Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
