Quantum Care is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain high cleanliness standards across our home, ensuring residents are safe, comfortable and have a welcoming, tidy environment.

You will perform cleaning duties, assist with laundry, and follow health and safety policies while supporting residents with a compassionate, person-centred approach. This role emphasizes reliability, teamwork and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness throughout the home, including rooms, bathrooms and communal areas.
• Sanitise rooms, change and make beds, and dispose of waste.

Job description

Housekeeper you will maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home, ensuring residents are safe, comfortable and have a welcoming tidy environment, through compassionate and person-centred approach to supporting resident's wellbeing.,

• You'll help create a homely and caring atmosphere for our residents and ensure the quality of their lives is maximised.
• Provide a full range of housekeeping and cleaning duties, ie sanitising rooms, bathrooms, communal areas and changing and making beds, with cored disposal of waste.
• Provide support with Laundry duties including replenishing linen and supplies
• Following health and safety policies and procedures.

  You must have relevant experience or willing to learn the necessary skills.

• A positive, caring, and respectful attitude towards residents.
• Excellent attention to detail and high cleaning standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, hygiene, and infection control.
• The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic., An Overseas Police Check/ Certificate of Good Conduct may be required if you have lived or worked outside the UK for 12 Months or more, spent a significant period overseas, or worked abroad in a position of trust. This will be in addition to a mandatory Enhanced DBS check.
