Job summary

Darwin Escapes group is seeking a reliable Housekeeper to ensure our holiday accommodation is clean, comfortable and welcoming for every guest at our site in Wales. You will prepare accommodation for arrivals, maintain high standards, and work with the housekeeping team to complete changeovers efficiently.

This part-time, fixed-term role involves 3 hours per shift, including bank holidays as required, and offers a practical, active work environment with full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean holiday accommodation to high standards.

• Follow cleaning checklists and company procedures.
• Report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Work with housekeeping team to ensure smooth changeovers.

About the role

We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Housekeeper to help ensure our holiday accommodation is clean, comfortable and welcoming for every guest.

You’ll prepare accommodation for guest arrivals, maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation and work closely with the wider housekeeping team to ensure changeovers are completed efficiently.

This is a practical and active role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail and enjoys working as part of a team.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and prepare holiday accommodation to company standards
• Change bed linen and make beds ready for guest arrivals
• Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
• Vacuum, dust, mop and clean surfaces throughout accommodation
• Ensure accommodation is well presented and ready for check-in
• Follow cleaning checklists, procedures and company standards
• Report maintenance issues, damage or missing items promptly
• Maintain cleanliness in communal or guest areas where required
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and appropriately
• Report hazards or health and safety concerns
• Work efficiently during busy changeover periods
• Work collaboratively with the wider housekeeping and resort teams
