Job summary

The Oystercatcher, Polzeath, is seeking a friendly Housekeeper to help ensure guest rooms are spotless and welcoming. You’ll be part of a close-knit team at a scenic pub with modern facilities, and you’ll play a key role in maintaining comfort for guests after a day on the beach.

You’ll provide a warm welcome, keep rooms tidy and clean, and you’ll have access to in-house training. The role offers a flexible, family-friendly schedule with meals provided for longer shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality housekeeping preferred.
• Maintains high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Ability to work as part of a team and take direction.

The Oystercatcher is a contemporary bar and restaurant with comfy accommodation that enjoys an enviable outlook over Polzeath Beach and out to sea, from both inside and across its spectacular al fresco space.

You’ll be working at a scenic pub that’s popular among families, couples, and surfers seeking a delicious bite to eat following a session on the waves or a day out exploring Cornwall’s dramatic north coast.

We’re looking for a Housekeeper to join our close-knit team. You’ll provide a warm welcome to guests, making them feel at home throughout their stay, while keeping our rooms looking spick and span. If you haven’t done this kind of work before, we’ll support you to learn.
