Job summary

The Ship Inn, part of St Austell Brewery, is seeking a friendly Housekeeper to join the team in Mousehole. You’ll ensure guest rooms are clean, welcoming, and well-presented, while supporting the overall guest experience on a seaside site.

We offer training, flexible working, and a family-friendly environment with discounts on food, drink, and overnight stays, plus volunteer time off. Early applications encouraged.

The Ship Inn bustles with life in the summer, transforming to a romantic and cosy snug in the winter. Oozing character and charm, this traditional seaside inn occupies an enviable position right on the water’s edge, overlooking Mousehole’s famous harbour.

You’ll be working in one of West Cornwall’s most beautiful destinations, with a wealth of golden beaches, dramatic coastal walks, and popular attractions on the doorstep.

Part time opportunity! We’re looking for a Housekeeper to join our close-knit team. You’ll provide a warm welcome to guests, making them feel at home throughout their stay, while keeping our rooms looking spick and span. If you haven’t done this kind of work before, we’ll support you to learn.
