Summary:

The site on which Woodthorpe Hospital now stands has provided healthcare to the people of Nottingham since 1877 and is conveniently located towards the north of Nottingham city centre, with excellent on-site parking facilities and access to public transport nearby.

Today, we are a modern, well-equipped hospital with 41 private bedrooms (all en-suite) and two operating theatres. We are constantly developing our services and are proud of our comprehensive range of specialist departments and the high standard of care that they allow us to offer all of our guests.

The role:

We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Housekeeper to join our team at Nottingham Woodthorpe Hospital, based in Nottingham.
As the Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained across the department, while supporting the wider team across various departments.

Responsibilities include:

1. Maintaining cleanliness standards by following policies, procedures, and schedules, including operating specialist cleaning equipment.
2. Carrying out specialist and one-off cleaning duties in line with supervisor requirements, ensuring a pleasant environment for patients and visitors.
3. Supporting a motivated team, with previous housekeeping experience and knowledge of COSHH and infection control preferred; training will be provided.
