The Catering & Facilities Management Service are looking to employ a Cleaner in Charge at National Church of England Academy, Annesley Road, Hucknall, Nottingham, NG15 7DB to further enhance the cleaning standards within the site with immediate effect. You will be required to work between the hours of 6.00 to 8.30am or 3.30pm to 6.00pm

We are looking for a candidate who enjoys working in a busy environment as part of a focused team, and who is able to communicate at all levels. Experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be given. Duties will include: Date to day supervision of a team of cleaners; Monitoring of cleaning standards across the site: Completion and submission of paper work each week: monitoring and ordering of cleaning materials for the site: Cover of cleaning area in and emergency situation which includes - vacuuming; washroom cleaning; sweeping; mopping; dusting; washing of furniture and window cleaning (plus occasional use of electrical cleaning machinery i.e. buffing machine and wet pick-up).

You will play a vital role as part of a team of cleaning staff. This post is predominately one where you will be expected to work using your own initiative, and you will be expected to programme your daily routine to meet the needs of the site. Protective clothing and other PPE will be provided as required.
