Job summary

Bedford Lodge Hotel & Spa in Newmarket, Suffolk, is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. You will clean bedrooms, bathrooms and public areas to a high standard, with weekend shifts from 6:30am and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Full training is provided; we offer meals on duty, staff discounts and opportunities for long service awards within our luxury 4 Red Star hotel and spa.

Qualifications

• Ability to clean guest rooms and public areas to a high standard and within tight timescales.
• Available to work weekends from 6:30am.
• Experience in a similar role is desirable, but full training will be provided.

The Position

As a Housekeeper, you will be working as part of a team to ensure standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness in all areas are maintained. You will be responsible for the day-to-day cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, corridor areas and public areas. You’ll bring enthusiasm, excellent communication skills and strong team working spirit to the role, together with the ability to work independently and on your own initiative. You will need to have a professional attitude and be highly motivated with great attention to detail.

You will be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) with a start time of 6:30am. There may be the opportunity to pick up additional shifts, but you will predominantly be employed to work weekends.
