Job summary

Quantum Care is recruiting a Housekeeper for Tye Green Lodge, Harlow. The role supports a 61-bed home with high standards of cleanliness, comfort and resident wellbeing. You will maintain hygienic environments and assist with laundry while following health and safety policies.

We welcome applicants with relevant experience or a willingness to learn, and offer weekend/Bank Holiday enhanced pay, career development and a supportive workplace. Sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Experience or willingness to learn housekeeping tasks.
• Careful with cleanliness, hygiene and infection control.
• Able to work as part of a team and independently when needed.

• Provide housekeeping across the home, ensuring clean, safe and welcoming environments.
• Clean rooms, en-suite facilities, and communal areas to high standards.

This61 bed purpose-built home features spacious en-suite accommodation, elegant communal areas, and beautifully maintained gardens. As a

Housekeeper you will maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home, ensuring residents are safe, comfortable and have a welcoming tidy environment, through compassionate and person-centred approach to supporting resident’s wellbeing.

What You’ll Bring

• You must have relevant experience or willing to learn the necessary skills.
• A positive, caring, and respectful attitude towards residents.
• Excellent attention to detail and high cleaning standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, hygiene, and infection control.
• The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• You’ll help create a homely and caring atmosphere for our residents and ensure the quality of their lives is maximised.
• Provide a full range of housekeeping and cleaning duties, ie sanitising rooms, bathrooms, communal areas and changing and making beds, with cored disposal of waste.
• Provide support with Laundry duties including replenishing linen and supplies
• Following health and safety policies and procedures.
