Job summary

Sandstone Care Group is seeking a reliable Housekeeper for Burscough Manor Care Home. The role involves cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard, supporting laundry duties and following infection control procedures.

You will report safety concerns and work closely with the team to maintain a clean, welcoming environment for residents. Shift pattern is 8am–4pm, 22.5 hours per week with a pay rate of £12.76 per hour.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping/cleaning or domestic experience is desirable but not essential.
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
• Friendly, caring and respectful approach.

Responsibilities

• Keep residents' bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas clean and well-presented.
• Follow cleaning schedules and infection control procedures.
• Support laundry duties (washing, drying, ironing, distributing clothing/linen).
• Report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Create a comfortable, homely environment and work with colleagues to maintain high standards.

What You'll Do
