Job summary

The Londoner is seeking an experienced Housekeeper to join our 5 Star Super Boutique hotel in London. You will supervise the housekeeping team, ensuring rooms and public areas meet our high standards and delivering exceptional service to guests.

You will train new starters, provide feedback to improve performance, and uphold our commitment to a outstanding guest experience and teamwork across departments.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping supervisory experience, ideally in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
• Ability to lead, train, coach and develop a team.
• Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and customer service.
• Clear and respectful communication; English may not be first language for many.
• Understands teamwork and collaborates with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the housekeeping team and ensure standards are maintained in rooms and public areas.
• Provide clear feedback to room attendants and house stewards when standards are not met and train where needed.
• Train new starters and assign buddies to reach high cleanliness standards.
• Maintain high level of customer service in line with core values and guest expectations.
• Support cross-department collaboration to deliver a seamless guest experience.

We are currently recruiting for a Housekeeper to join the team at The Londoner, our 5 Star Super Boutique Hotel

Overview

• An amazing opportunity to join the team in Housekeeping at The Londoner Hotel as a Housekeeper. This role comes with excellent training and fast track career progression.
• As a Housekeeper you will be responsible for supervising the housekeeping team, ensuring standards are maintained and delivered at all times within both rooms and public areas.
• You will provide clear feedback to Room Attendants and House Stewards if there areas are not up to the required standards and will provide training where necessary.
• You will be responsible for providing training to al new starters, ensuring that that they have the appropriate buddy in place for a duration of time that enables them to reach and maintain the high standards of cleanliness that is required.
• You will ensure a high level of customer service is delivered at all times in line with our core values and standards which are to exceed guest expectations.

About You

• Previous housekeeping supervisory experience is required ideally within a 4- or 5-star hotel operation.
• The ability to lead, train, coach and develop a team.
• Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
• Is able to communicate clearly and respectfully with all team members bearing in mind that English will not be the first language for many.
• Understands the importance of teamwork and works collaboratively with other departments.
