Job summary

Oakland Care is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for Osbern Manor, Wigmore, Gillingham. This permanent, part-time role (days) offers 24 hours per week with pay of £13.20 per hour.

You will maintain high cleanliness standards across residents' rooms and communal areas, run daily cleaning routines, handle laundry, and support infection control. We welcome warmly approachable individuals with great attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in a care home is a bonus but not essential.
• A positive, can-do attitude and good attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining high cleanliness in residents' rooms and communal areas.
• Carrying out daily cleaning routines and deep-clean schedules.
• Ensuring laundry is washed, dried, and returned promptly.
• Supporting infection control procedures.
• Working as part of a friendly team that prioritises residents' wellbeing.
