Job summary

Agincare’s Tilford care home is seeking a Housekeeper to create a clean, welcoming environment for residents. You’ll care for communal spaces, rooms, and linens with pride, supporting a home that residents love living in.

The role offers £12.72 per hour, 24 hours per week including alternate weekends, and a pathway to funded qualifications up to QCF Level 5. Applicants must have UK right to work, a driving licence and access to a vehicle as Tilford is in a remote location.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or maintaining clean spaces.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment by keeping communal areas clean, tidy and safe for residents, visitors and colleagues.
• Care for residents' rooms, dust, polish and vacuum to a high standard with appropriate safety signage.
• Collaborate with management to maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Share kindness and engage with residents to enhance daily living.

What we’re looking for

• A minimum of 12 months’ right to work in the UK
• A positive attitude and pride in your work
• 24 hours per week to include working alternative weekends
• You are required to have a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle to get to and from work as Tilford care home is situated in a remote location with no public transport routes

• Creating a welcoming environment – keeping all communal areas clean, tidy, and safe for residents, visitors and colleagues
• Room care with pride – dusting, polishing and vacuuming residents’ rooms to a high standard, always using appropriate safety signage
• Working together – collaborating with the management team to maintain excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Making a difference through kindness – sharing a smile, a conversation, or a moment of connection with residents as you go about your day
