Job summary

Agincare Group's Victory care home in Chatham is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to create a clean, welcoming environment for residents. This role is 15 hours per week, 9am–3pm on a two-week rolling rota including alternative weekends, with pay at £12.72 per hour.

You will clean communal areas and resident rooms, follow safety signage, and support the care team with a warm, friendly approach; company pension and career development are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months’ right to work in the UK.
• Positive attitude and pride in your work.
• Housekeeping experience welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Keep communal areas clean, tidy and safe for residents, visitors and staff.
• Care for resident rooms by dusting, polishing and vacuuming to a high standard with proper safety signage.
• Collaborate with management to maintain high hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Provide a welcoming, kind environment through brief conversations and friendly interactions.

What we’re looking for

• Shift Pattern:
• Week 1 Wednesday and Friday
• Week 2 Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday

• Creating a welcoming environment – keeping all communal areas clean, tidy, and safe for residents, visitors and colleagues
• Room care with pride – dusting, polishing and vacuuming residents’ rooms to a high standard, always using appropriate safety signage
• Working together – collaborating with the management team to maintain excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Making a difference through kindness – sharing a smile, a conversation, or a moment of connection with residents as you go about your day
