Job summary

Hyllden Heights in Tonbridge is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to maintain high cleanliness standards across residents' rooms and communal areas. This part-time role offers 32 hours per week at £13.20 per hour, with day shifts.

You will work as part of a friendly care home team, support infection prevention, manage laundry, and help create a warm, home-like environment for residents. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential.

• Previous housekeeping experience (care home experience is a bonus but not essential).
• A warm and respectful approach when working in residents’ personal spaces.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across residents’ rooms and communal areas throughout the home.
• Carrying out daily cleaning routines and deep-clean schedules.
• Ensuring laundry is washed, dried, and returned promptly.
• Supporting infection control procedures.
• Working as part of a friendly team that puts residents’ wellbeing first.
