Job summary

Circle Health Group's The Winterbourne Hospital in Dorchester is hiring a part-time Housekeeper to work 30 hours per week, with a salary up to £25,500 FTE per year depending on experience.

You will undertake daily cleaning of patient, public and staff areas, maintain a safe and pleasant environment, replenish linen and consumables, and cover Theatre areas and other Circle Health Group sites as required.

Qualifications

• Competency in literacy and numeracy.
• Good communication skills.
• Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent level 2.
• Proficiency in using a PC and office software.

Responsibilities

• Undertake day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group staff.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (incl Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites as required.
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to Housekeeper Lead for auditing.

Salary: Up to £25,500.00 FTE per year (depending on level of experience, training, and qualification.)

The Winterbourne Hospital in Dorchester is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for an Housekeeper to join their team of staff in the Hotel Services department.

This is a part time role for 30 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• Undertake in the day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (inc Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites where appropriate and as requested
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead on a daily basis for auditing purposes
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Competency in literacy and numeracy
• Good Communication skills
• Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
