Job summary

The Winterbourne Hospital in Dorchester is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join the Hotel Services team. This 30-hour-per-week role is permanent, with a flexible shift pattern to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.

Circle Health Group offers a range of benefits and a salary up to £25,500 FTE per year. You will undertake day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas, replenish linen and consumables, and support theatre areas and other Circle Health

Qualifications

• Literacy and numeracy proficiency.
• Good communication skills.
• Maths and English GCSE A-C or equivalent.
• Proficiency in PC use including software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Undertake day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments, including Theatre areas, and other Circle Health sites as required.
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead for auditing.
• Comply with relevant mandatory training.

Salary: Up to £25,500.00 FTE per year (depending on level of experience, training, and qualification.)

The Winterbourne Hospital in Dorchester is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for an Housekeeper to join their team of staff in the Hotel Services department.

This is a part time role for 30 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• Undertake in the day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (inc Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites where appropriate and as requested
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead on a daily basis for auditing purposes
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Competency in literacy and numeracy
• Good Communication skills
• Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
