Job summary

Compass Group UK&I, Medirest, is recruiting a part-time Cleaner to join our healthcare cleaning team, contracted to 20 hours per week.

Shifts are planned 5 out of 7 days; you will dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces to a high standard in NHS Trusts and private hospitals.

No prior cleaning experience is essential, but flexibility and reliability are valued as part of our effort to deliver safe, hygienic environments for clients and customers.

• Experience in a similar cleaning role is not essential.
• Flexible approach to working and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and restocking cleaning supplies.

• Enjoy working in a hands-on role
• Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
• Have a flexible approach to working
