Job summary

Porthaven Care Homes is recruiting a Housekeeping Assistant for our Burford home. The role involves cleaning, tidying and maintaining a welcoming environment for residents, with full training provided. You will join a supportive team and contribute to the high standards our residents deserve.

The position is full-time, 40 hours weekly, with shifts 8am–4pm and alternating weekends. DBS checks and right to work in the UK are required.

You will carry out a variety of housekeeping and cleaning tasks to ensure everyone can enjoy a clean, tidy and welcoming environment. Your work will ensure that our home is a great place to live.

About you

You need to have great attention to detail, high standards and be motivated to work as part of a team to deliver an exceptional housekeeping service. Ideally, you will have previous cleaning experience, but this is not essential as full training will be provided. Just as importantly, you should be reliable and committed to making a positive difference to the lives and wellbeing of each of our residents'.

The successful candidate will be subject to the provision of satisfactory references and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, and they must be authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
