Job summary

Serco Leisure at Bisham Abbey is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for guests, visitors, and the local community. You’ll play a key role in high standards across the site, supporting leisure, events, and accommodation facilities with care and attention to detail.

The role involves cleaning duties across designated areas, preparation of rooms, and participation in deep cleaning as needed. Flexible hours include weekend shifts on a rota basis.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, hospitality, accommodation, or similar environment.
• Reliable, motivated, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
• Customer-focused with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible approach to work, including weekend rota-based work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties across designated areas, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, polishing, and waste disposal.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in sports, conference, accommodation, and communal areas.
• Prepare rooms and facilities to a high standard for guests and visitors.
• Clean shower, changing, and bathroom areas in line with required standards.
• Support deep cleaning activities, including carpet cleaning, descaling, and window cleaning where required.
• Help maintain safe cleaning stores and support colleagues with other reasonable duties across the site.

Salary: £12.71- £13.20 dependent on skills and experience

Schedule: Perm/PT-16 hours or FT 40 hours - flexible between Monday-Sunday depending on the needs of the business.

What you’ll do as a Housekeeper
