Silver and Bow seeks a hands-on House Manager to run its historic country home in England. You will own day-to-day operations, lead a small team, manage contractors, and develop house systems from scratch with sustainability at the core.

You will oversee budgets, purchasing, and care for artwork, wardrobes, animals, and property technology in a design-conscious, family-first environment. Accommodation is provided.

Qualificações

• Proven House Manager or Head Housekeeper in a high-standard private home.
• Experience leading a team and coordinating with gardeners and Family Office.
• Strong contractor, budget and supplier management.
• Eye for design and presentation with an appreciation for organic and sustainable living.
• Comfortable overseeing property systems and technology (engineering knowledge not required).
• Organised, independent and proficient in Outlook, Excel and Word.

A private family with a real passion for design and nature is looking for a House Manager to run their historic country home. The property is certified organic, with working gardens and a relaxed, family-first atmosphere. It is also developing into a fully functioning family home, so there is a genuine chance to shape how it runs from the ground up.

The Role

You will take full ownership of the day-to-day running of the house, leading a small team of staff and working closely with the gardeners and the Family Office. The role is hands-on: managing contractors and maintenance, building a house manual and systems from scratch, overseeing budgets and purchasing, and caring for the family's artwork, wardrobes and animals. Sustainability and thoughtful sourcing are central to how the household operates.

The Candidate

• Proven House Manager or Head Housekeeper with a stable work history in a high-standard private home
• Confident leading a team and happy to roll up your sleeves when needed
• Strong contractor, budget and supplier management
• An eye for design and presentation, with an appreciation for organic and sustainable living
• Comfortable overseeing property systems and technology (engineering knowledge not required)
• Organised, independent and well versed in Outlook, Excel and Word

Salary: £70k gpa + accommodation
Schedule: 5 days per week - flexible to work weekends when in residence
