Job summary

Exclusive Household Staff seeks an experienced Head Housekeeper for a VIP private residence in Mayfair. You will lead a team, ensure flawless daily cleaning, and coordinate with other staff to maintain a pristine home.

The ideal candidate has five+ years in an UHNW, fully staffed home, and is discreet, highly organised with excellent communication. Hours are 9:00am–6:00pm, five days on, two off, with some weekend rotation. ASAP start. Salary Circa £70,000+ DOE.

Responsibilities

• Managing a team of housekeepers.
• Full housekeeping duties including daily cleaning to a high standard.
• General household organisation and tidying.
• Care for finishes such as marble, silver, fabrics, chinaware and glass.
• Laundry, ironing and wardrobe care including designer items.
• Report maintenance issues to House Manager.
• Monitor supplies and restock as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

A professional, VIP household in Mayfair is looking for an experienced Head Housekeeper to join their team. This is an opportunity to work in a stunning private residence for a lovely family.

You will be responsible for managing a team, maintaining the property's cleanliness and organisation, focusing on daily cleaning, upkeep, and laundry duties. This is a long-term position for someone who takes pride in maintaining a pristine home and enjoys working as part of large team.

Duties to include:

• Managing a team of Housekeepers


• Full housekeeping duties, including daily cleaning to a consistently high standard


• General household organisation and tidying


• Care for special finishes such as marble, silver, fabrics, chinaware and glass


• Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe care, including delicate and designer items


• Reporting any maintenance issues to House Manager


• Monitoring household supplies and alerting when items need replenishing


• Maintaining strict confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism in all matters relating to family and household


• Occasionally assisting the Butlers, in line with household requirements


• Working closely with other Heads of Departments/Chief of Staff

Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 5 years' experience working in an UHNW, fully staffed household (particularly a full time residence)


• Discreet, trustworthy, and respectful of boundaries


• Highly organised with excellent time management skills


• Strong team player with good communication skills


• Well-presented and professional in manner


• Previous experience of managing a team

Days of work:

5 days on, 2 days off (including some weekends in rotation with the team)

Hours:

9.00am-6.00pm (some flexibility required)
