Marcilly Recruitment Ltd invites a polished Housekeeper to join a private household relocating from London to Oxford. The role starts with a trial and training period in London, moving to Oxford, with a target salary of £55,000 gross per year and accommodation provided.

Responsibilities

• Keep the family home immaculate with close attention to finishes and care of furniture, art and collectibles.
• Laundry, ironing and wardrobe care, including specialist garments.
• Change beds and towels, and prepare the home for guests.
• Support packing and unpacking ahead of family travel.
• Restock household essentials and assist with ad hoc errands.
• Work with the wider household team to keep the home running smoothly.

Housekeeper

Marcilly Recruitment’s client, a lovely UHNW family currently based in Prime Central London and relocating to Oxford, is seeking an experienced and professional Housekeeper to join their fully staffed private household. The Housekeeper will begin with a trial and training period at the family’s London residence before transitioning permanently to Oxford, with the move expected by Easter (timings may change). The family is happy to consider candidates already based in Oxford or willing to relocate.

Salary: £55,000 gross per annum
Benefits: Accommodation
Start date: ASAP
Hours: 9 hours per day
Location: Oxford (initial trial and training at the family’s London residence)

Housekeeper Requirements

• Experienced, hardworking and polished Housekeeper with a high standard of housekeeping
• Previous experience as a Housekeeper in a fully staffed private household is preferred
• Discreet, reliable and a genuine team player
• Comfortable around children, dogs and guinea pigs
• Based in Oxford or willing to relocate
• Excellent written and verbal references
• Right to work in the UK
