Coleg Gwent is hiring two Hourly Paid Additional Support Assistants to help learners with additional learning needs access the curriculum. The role is 10 hours per week during term time, fixed term to 30/06/27, with a salary of £16.14 per hour.
You will support learners on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, including personal care when needed, and work with campus teams to maximise progress. Applicants should have Level 2 with four GCSEs including Maths and English at grade C or above; basic Welsh

We wish to appoint inspiring Additional Support Assistant to help learners with additional learning needs to access the curriculum at Coleg Gwent.
Applicants should have previous experience of working with young people who have difficulties and/or disabilities and be educated to Level 2 standard with four GCSEs including Maths and English at grade C or above.
The successful candidates will be required to support learners on a 1:1 basis, including providing personal care when needed, as well as work with learners on a group basis, working closely with the curriculum and campus support teams to ensure the learners meet their full potential.
The ability to use the Welsh language at a basic level (or willingness to undertake training) is desirable.
