Job summary
Travelodge Bradford Shipley is looking for an Assistant Hotel Manager to lead, coach and motivate hotel teams, delivering exceptional guest experiences and achieving KPI targets. You will develop personal development plans, recruit and onboard new staff, and ensure food & beverage standards are met where applicable, with a focus on upselling where a Bar Café is involved.
You will also monitor guest feedback and drive service improvements.
Qualifications
- Experience leading a team in a service-led customer facing environment.
- Ability to coach and develop team members and create development plans.
- Experience with food & beverage standards is a plus for Bar Café hotels.
- Strong communication and KPI-driven mindset.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and motivate hotel teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Develop personal development plans and recruit and onboard new team members.
- Ensure food and beverage standards are met where applicable and drive upsell.
- Review customer feedback and implement targeted improvement actions.
- Oversee cleanliness in rooms and public areas to brand standards.
- Report maintenance needs and manage rota planning, banking and health & safety.
