Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting.
• Knowledge of health and safety, particularly moving and handling, fire safety and COSHH assessments.
• DBS disclosure check and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all cleaning duties in line with worksheet instructions
• Maintain all standards of cleanliness and laundry in the home
• Operate to the standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry
• Maintain hotel service standards
• Understand the cleaning requirements of different surfaces, coverings and cleaning materials
• Keep all areas well presented and in good condition
• Treat residents with dignity and respect, including their personal space and belongings
• Work as part of a team
