Job summary

The Imperial London Hotels Limited is seeking a Shift Engineer for President Hotel in London. You will join the property maintenance team, overseeing daily tasks to keep guest rooms and public areas in immaculate condition and ensuring a safe, efficient operation.

Responsibilities include general repairs, minor electrical work, painting, carpentry, landscaping, BMS monitoring, and contractor supervision. Collaboration with Front of House is essential to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in Property Maintenance or a similar role.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive approach to maintaining high standards of safety and functionality.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• General building repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Minor electrical work, painting, carpentry, and outdoor landscaping.
• Testing and monitoring the Building Management System (BMS).
• Supervising contractors where necessary.
• Coordinate daily tasks with front-of-house team and ensure requests are handled promptly and safely.
• Comply with health & safety legislation and company policy.
