Guide Post Hotel in Oakenshaw is seeking a Night Porter to support the hotel during the night shift. You will ensure guest safety, respond to queries, and assist with front desk duties.

You will also operate the night bar, handle banking, coordinate conference setups, check guests in and out, and maintain cleanliness in public areas while adhering to health and safety standards.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee hotel security and guest safety during night shift.
• Answer guest queries and provide information.
• Serve drinks at the night bar and manage the bar area.
• Handle banking and cashing up at end of shift.
• Coordinate conference/function setups and room turns.
• Check guests in and out and manage the switchboard.
• Execute emergency evacuations and follow safety procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas, function rooms and toilets.

Descripción del empleo

The Night Porter will be responsible for;

The Hotel and its residents during the shift

Maintaining standards at all times

Banking

Night bar and serving drinks

Running all emergency evacuations and procedures as per the standards

Answering any guest queries or questions

Security of the property and the guests

Answering the switchboard

Arranging the conference/function set ups and turns rounds.

Checking guests in and out of the hotel.

Adhering to all health and safety regulations

Cleaning the hotel in all public areas, function rooms and toilets
