AAB in Glasgow is seeking a Management Accountant to take full ownership of the monthly management accounting cycle for the hotel portfolio, reviewing profit and loss, balance sheet, variances, and risk areas. You will prepare VAT returns, coach the Finance Assistant, oversee bank reconciliations and Accounts Payable controls, support year-end audits, and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Qualifikationen

• Proactive self-starter with ability to problem solve.
• Organising and prioritising work to meet reporting deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of IT literacy, including strong Excel skills.
• Experience of Business Central highly desirable.

Aufgaben

• Full ownership of the monthly management accounting cycle for your hotel portfolio.
• Review P&L and balance sheet, identify variances and risks and take action.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly VAT returns and assist with VAT inspections as required.
• Coach the Finance Assistant and improve daily processes and controls.
• Oversee Bank Reconciliation and Accounts Payable controls; support year-end audits.
