Job summary

Splendid Hospitality Group is looking for a Maintenance Team Member at Mercure Brigstow Bristol to support the Engineering team with routine hotel maintenance. The role covers front and back of house areas, ensuring safety and that everything functions correctly, with on-site activity and proactive upkeep.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, coordinate with management, and uphold health & safety standards while updating records and completing admin tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with hotel management and other departments to rooms inspections
• Assess and carry out painting, redecoration, and general maintenance
• Determine and apply cost-effective, durable repair solutions
• Perform planned and responsive maintenance, including preparation, repair, installation
• Ensure workmanship meets high standards and complies with safety regulations
• Record jobs, monitor reports, and update health and safety records
• Undertake required Health & Safety trainings and report progress
