Job summary

Delta Hotels by Marriott, Bristol City Centre is seeking an experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager to support the Engineering Manager in maintaining the hotel's building, plant and equipment to the highest standards.

You will lead day-to-day maintenance operations, oversee preventative maintenance programmes and coordinate repairs across HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical and life-safety systems, while ensuring safety and compliance for guests and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel/hospitality engineering and building services.
• Strong knowledge of building services, maintenance, and Health & Safety.
• Organised, proactive with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day management of Engineering and Maintenance operations.
• Supervise work orders allocation and timely completion.
• Plan and schedule preventative maintenance programmes.
• Oversee HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical and life safety systems.
• Maintain compliance and safety records.
• Coordinate repairs, renovations, and equipment replacements.
• Support staff training in safety procedures.
