Job summary

Welcome Break is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Assistant to join our on-site team. You will be responsible for spotting and fixing maintenance issues in rooms and common areas, with hands-on tasks across the hotel to uphold our standards and guest experience.

The role requires a practical, proactive approach; painting and decorating experience is welcomed though not mandatory. Immediate start and overtime opportunities are available, with the potential for career progression within the Welcome

Qualifications

• Painting and decorating experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Immediate start available.
• Must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Spot and fix maintenance issues in hotel rooms and public areas.
• Perform general repairs and routine maintenance tasks.
• Keep plant rooms clean and orderly.
• Attend repairs and maintenance work as required by hotel management.
• Repair and maintain guest room facilities, lighting, furniture and equipment.
• Record daily service work and report progress.
