Welcome Break is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Team Member for an immediate start in a flexible full-time role with overtime in a busy hotel environment. You will be responsible for spotting and fixing maintenance issues across rooms and common areas, ensuring guest satisfaction and high standards.

The role is hands-on, requiring direct action and close collaboration with hotel management. Benefits include meals on shift, staff discounts, and opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform general repairs and services.
• Knowledge of health and safety at work and related policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs and services.
• Perform all routine preventable maintenance.
• Maintain clean and tidy plant rooms.
• Attend all types of repairs and maintenance work in the hotel.
• Repair and maintain guest room facilities, lights, furniture and equipment.
• Record daily service work.
• Respond to requests from management regarding maintenance issues throughout the day.
• Check with the hotel rules and regulations as outlined in the company handbook.
• Comply with policies relating to Health and Safety at work.
• Knowledge of heating and hot water systems.
