We’re now on the hunt for a practical, solutions-focused Hotel Maintenance Operative to join our on-the-ground dream team. What you'll be doing as a Hotel Maintenance Operative:

• You’ll handle a variety of day-to-day maintenance tasks across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house—everything from basic plumbing and electrics to painting and carpentry.




• You'll keep the property in prime condition, jumping into preventative maintenance and urgent repairs alike.




• You’ll help support third-party contractors and make sure all work meets our high standards.




• You’ll play your part in keeping our hotels safe, functional, and beautiful, working closely with other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.




• And of course, as a Hotel Maintenance Operative, you’ll log your work, report issues, and ensure we stay compliant with all health & safety regulations.

Who we're looking for in a Hotel Maintenance Operative:

• Someone with experience in a similar hands-on role, ideally in hospitality.




• A confident problem-solver who enjoys fixing things, improving things, and keeping everything running smoothly.




• You have solid all-round skills in plumbing, electrics, general repairs, and decoration.




• You’re independent but also love working as part of a fast-paced, high-energy team.




• Flexibility to jump into action when needed—yes, that might include weekends or evenings.

Nice to have:

• Qualifications in plumbing, electrical, or another trade.




• Experience with HVAC systems, pool maintenance, or kitchen equipment.




• A working knowledge of hospitality health & safety best practices.
